Maestro Ilaiyaraaja was awarded the Indian Music Academy Award. The prestigious music award instituted by music Maestro Pundit Jesraj and his Indian Music Academy was given to Maestro Ilaiyaraaja for his services in the field of music. The President of India Dr A P J Abdul Kalam presided over the function and gave away the award to our Maestro. The function was organized in New Delhi recently.
